Welcome to Conrunner 2008. This is the first of what is hoped will be a regular gathering of people interested and/or experienced in running fan (not-for-profit) conventions. The event is aimed at the Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Anime and Comics communities, but the skills, problems and solutions discussed probably apply to most not-for-profit conventions.

The convention will be held at the Britannia Hotel in Wolverhampton over the weekend of the 28 - 29 June 2008. The membership rates will be:

Membership can be now only be purchased at the door, at £45 for the weekend and £25 for a single day.

Rooms in the hotel block are running out, but can be purchaeds through the hotels web site, with the single rates for one ortwo nights only being slightly higher than the con-rate. Double/Twin rates are a bit higher still.
